Everything about the Nexus 5 2016 we know so far
This time it is HTC producing the 2016 version of the Nexus 5, and it is pointing to some solid specifications. With the Nexus 9 tablet not being a great success lets take look at if the Nexus 5 (2016) impresses. Here is a compilation of all that we know about the Nexus 5 (2016) so far.
Google Nexus 5 2016 Key Specifications
- The phone is supposedly to feature a 5 -inch 1080 pixels display
- Claimed to be equipped with a Quad-core CPU
- Expected to be coupled with 4 GB of RAM
- Rumoured to be backed by a 2770 mAh Battery
- Said to house 32 GB of internal memory
- To Sport a 12 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera
- Also claims to house a rear mounted finger print scanner and said to come with USB Type-C
All the specifications except from the screen size, resolution and battery size is rumoured to be identical to the Nexus 6( 2016). It is presupposed that the device is going to have a metal unibody design. It was in April that rumours suggested that HTC is working on two 2016 Nexuses and later a post suggested that a pair on Android N devices dubbed M1 and S1 are coming up.
Just like last year this year too it is anticipated that the Nexus 5 (2016) will be released towards the end of the year alongside its new operating system. As for the details related to the price, much like the predecessors this will be US$350.
Also at this point it is with certainty that the next major Android software version will release. However balance the fact that HTC’s involvement in this project is an early rumour. It has not yet been confirmed.
